I was lucky enough to be asked by Memebox to review yet another one of their boxes! This is the Memebox Special #7 Milk Box and it retailed for $23.00 + shipping. It is already sold out because Memeboxes sell out quickly! If you see one you like, you should definitely purchase right away.

First look! This was box was packed. Super packed. And it was heavy.

There were 7 full size items in this box!

Hello Everybody Bubblebath Steam Milk (25 g, $4) – It’s currently too hot to take bubble baths since it’s July, but I’m totally saving this for the fall/winter season. When I opened the box, I could smell this right away. It’s really pleasant because it smells like a vanilla scented candle.

Hello Everybody Nature Holic Body Lotion Milk (300 ml, $25) – This is HUGE. It’s basically enough to last you through a proverbial winter. I said I wouldn’t open it until I finished at least one of my other body lotions, but… I couldn’t help it and I opened this anyway. (LOL) It’s made from organic goat milk and it’s a very thin, spreadable formula. I want to love this but it’s so heavily perfumed in a scent that I don’t enjoy. 😦 I can smell it as I type and it’s way too strong.

I just put some on the back of my hand and it was seriously too much fragrance. Don’t get me wrong, I love it when things are heavily perfumed… but only if it’s in a scent that I like, because then I just wanted to slather it on. This is very moisturizing though and it absorbs really quickly. But I honestly just cannot stand how it smells.

Pure Smile Choosy Lib Scrub (25 g, $11) – I totally didn’t expect to see a lip scrub in a milk-themed box, but I’m glad they included one! You could have received Chamomile Milk or Peach Milk and I received the former. I tried it three times today and it doesn’t actually exfoliate. In fact, it’s actually super smooth until you get under the surface… and then you can see sugar crystals/particles.

I had to purposely push my finger into it to get to the sugar for the exfoliation effect. So it worked on my fourth try. XD It also tastes/smells slightly like a sweeter version of chamomile Vaseline. Despite my initial fails with it, I actually really like this product! It’s very moisturizing and fun to use.

Pure Smile MilkMask Pack (23 ml, $1) – YAY A MASK! I don’t really use sheet masks a lot so I’m always eager to try them if I’m lucky enough to get one in a subscription box. This one is rich in milk protein nutrients and is supposed to smooth out uneven skin texture. I’m definitely giving this one a try tonight.

Skin Ceramic Donkey Milk & Argan Oil Multi Steam Cream (100 g, $34) – This was the other super big, super heavy item in this box! I think if you love the lotion and this, you totally got your money’s worth! This is a totally unique and special product because it’s made with DONKEY MILK. Out of all the mammals in the world… XD In any case, I’m kind of in love with the packaging, because how cute and sleek is it?

Super big container full of this steam cream!

What it looks like.

You’re supposed to use this at the last stage of your skincare routine and pat into your skin with your hands to allow it to better absorb. It’s very smoothy and silky when you apply it, but it does have a slight “milk” smell. I guess the best way to describe the consistency is that it’s kind of like Pond’s Cold Cream but thinner. (I don’t even know why I said Pond’s when I don’t use that stuff, but it was the first thing that popped into my mind). The dry down kind of smells chalky and like baby powder.

Enesti Rice & Milk Foaming Cleanser (120 ml, $15) – YES, A CLEANSER! SCORE! 😀 I love trying cleansers and if it’s a foaming cleanser? Even better! Thankfully this smells like clean soap and it’s a gentle cleanser so I can use this every day. I think I’m really going to love this product if my skin reacts favorably to it.

EDIT: I’ve tried this two nights in a row and I LOVE IT. It lathers so richly that it feels so luxurious. A little goes a long way and this is a product I would totally repurchase because my skin feels so nice afterwards. 😀

Pure Smile Choosy Lip Pack Milk ($1) – I saw this product in another Memebox (but in a different flavor) and really wanted to try it… and here it is! I was really excited when I saw that this was in the box because I’ve never had a lip mask/patch before. This is why Memebox is so cool! You should totally buy this for your super loud and annoying friends. 😉

EDIT: I’ve tried this already and it’s really hilariously fun! The gel patch is so cool and I felt pretty awesome when I put it on over my lips. After I took it off, my lips actually felt super moisturized and smooth. I don’t know if it was a placebo effect or the product itself, but wow did my lips feel really, really nice. I would totally buy a whole box of these just to use when I feel like pampering myself!

And um, you can apparently also put it in other places… 😉

The Memebox Special #7 Milkbox!

Overall value:  If I go by the values listed on the info card, it adds up to $91.00

Overall enjoyment: What an awesome and unique box! So many new things that I had never thought of. A product made from donkey’s milk? A lip patch? Definitely not products I had ever even knew existed. It was a good balance between “new/unique” and “expected” products. Even though you probably could have predicted it, I love that there was a mask! I think my favorite product will be the cleanser, followed by the lip patch (just because I find it super fun and hilarious)… and the Steam Cream is a close third.

Sadly I won’t be using the lotion because the scent is just too strong for me and I know if I use it, I’ll get headaches from the fragrance. But for those who did get this box and like the scent, that body lotion is great to have just because of its formula and the sheer volume of product.

If you want to try out one of many Memeboxes they have for sale on their website, be sure to use the code 5DLDZLKTIM to take $5 off of any purchase!

One use per customer and it is valid from July 1st to July 31st.

  1. I was afraid of this box because I’m not a milk fan but this actually looks pretty fun. I’m waiting on my first ever Meme box – I ordered the chocolate box and cannot wait! I love chocolate scented beauty stuff and fingers crossed it is fantastic!

    1. I was really curious as to what kind of items they would include in a milk themed box but I found myself pleasantly surprised by everything! (except the lotion, but I do love the formula – just not the scent)

THE CHOCOLATE BOX? 😀 That sounds amazing, omg. I definitely hope that it’s a fantastic box too!
