Again, I take really terrible photos of the info card. 😦
Kang Skin Rejuvenating Cream (50 ml, $72) – This stuff contains SNAIL MUCUS! Yup, that’s right, snail mucus. 😄 I laughed a lot when I saw it highlighted in the product description but it’s actually super cool. (To me, at least! But that’s because I was the kid who dug up worms in the backyard.) It’s definitely a heavier cream so you need to use it at the very end of your skincare regime to give it time to soak in so that it can improve skin elasticity and minimize aging! I just have to say that I love the packaging. It’s so sleek and modern. It has a very light fragrance that I think will be unoffensive to most, if not all, so that’s awesome.
Kang Skin Aqua Essence (30 ml, $72) – These prices are crazy! (in a good way, of course). This product is the complete opposite of the first one because it’s a super light, transparent serum that absorbs in an instant. But the one thing it does have in common with the snail mucus cream (yes, that’s what I’m calling it from now) is that it’s practically fragrance free! I love it because I’m super picky about the stuff I put on my face. It either has to smell good or have no scent. So I’m definitely putting this on my face because its formula is based on hyaluronic acid, which is extremely hydrating!
The packaging on the box does say to avoid using on blemishes, pimples, irritated or sunburned skin. (just FYI)
cotterang Bubble Peeling Pad (16 ml/1 pad, $7) – This looks like fun! I’m always up to try any kind of mask-like product. This isn’t actually a mask, but it’s a pad that becomes a foaming product. (and if you know me, you know I love stuff that foams) It’s really easy to use since you basically just get your face wet, the pad wet, put the foam on your face, and rinse it off! This product claims to help you experience the same peeling effects at home as you would at a dermatologist!
cotterang Acne Killer Kit (16 ml + 5 ml, $20) – So….. I’m a little afraid of this product. Acne products are usually known to be more aggressive and so I’m not entirely sure I want to use this. It does list all the ingredients in English so that’s a comfort, but I don’t know enough about them to make an informed decision on whether or not I should try it out. This is a 7-day regime and it’s supposed to remove stubborn acne + excess dead skin cells. I honestly don’t have acne (I have blackheads, ew) so I think I might just gift this one to someone else. 😉
Here’s the back.
reBom Calming Skin (200 ml, $30) – This is kind of like a facial mist/spray (as I’m sure you can tell from the top of the bottle). At first I was a bit hesitant about using this only because of its scent, which was floral and had hints of rose. But it was also a clean scent and it slowly grew on me. Especially because it absorbs even faster than the kang skin aqua essence and the scent barely lingers before it dissipates! This one’s easy to use – all you have to do is spray some on your face at the beginning of your skincare routine. 🙂
The Memebox Superbox #34 Dermocosmetics 2!
Overall value: If I go by the values listed on the info card, it adds up to $201.00
Overall enjoyment: WHAT AN AMAZING VALUE. No seriously, the fact that a box costing $39 included two products that are both worth $72 is kind of insane (in a good way). I honestly feel like Memebox is constantly coming out with new boxes and including awesome new products in those boxes to help me improve my skincare routine! Obviously they also have other boxes that are geared toward makeup and other beauty, but I just love their skincare orientated boxes.
