I was again lucky enough to be asked by Memebox to review one of their boxes! This is the Memebox Superbox #55 Free From Oil & Trouble 4 and it retails for $32.00 + shipping. Unfortunately this box is already sold out. (but you should all check out their newest offerings!)

Here’s a description of the box:

“Turn down the shine and control excessive sebum with our Free From Oil & Troubles #4! This is the ultimate go-to box for covering those pesky little pimples, treating blemishes, and keeping skin matte all day! Our oil absorbing products are proven to work-fast, so that your skin is left refreshed, smooth, blemish free, and healthy-looking!”

As you can expect from Memebox, everything is full size!

insobeau Acnic Blemish Spot Solution (15 ml, $20) – The first thing I thought of when I saw this? PEPTO BISMOL! (disclaimer: I’ve never actually tried the stuff, haha)  This is half-liquid and half-powder (hence the suspension-like mixture) and contains vitamins A, B1, B2, and C! This solution relieves skin redness, stress levels, and protects the skin from further damage. So you basically use a q-tip, dip it in, and then gently apply a thick layer over any red spots or blemishes.

Pro You Aroma AC Cream (60 g, $54) – This is some expensive cream! The reason? It contains so much good stuff for your skin! This formula has: green tea, grapefruit, machilia (no idea what this is), thujopsis dolabrata extracts (a type of cypress indigenous to Japan) and a ton of essential oils (juniper berry, lavender, and tee tree). This one’s easy to use – all you have to do is apply it to your face day and night.

The Skin House Dr. Clear Magic Toner (130 ml, $25) – This is enriched with tea tree extracts and I absolutely LOVE how tea tree smells. 😀 It does what most toners do – soothe and control excess skin blemishes while balancing the skin’s moisture/oil levels for an overall healthier-looking complexion. I think I’m going to have to wait to use this because I have another toner open at the moment, but it’s always fun to spray your face with a fine mist of toner before applying the other steps in your skincare routine!

Benenet Herb & Bee A.C Control Serum (60 ml, $38) – This contains… BEE VENOM. :O So if you’re allergic to bees, please take caution in NOT USING this item if you received the box or were thinking of swapping for/buying this. That aside… apparently bee venom has proven effective in relieving, protecting, repairing and hydrating skin. This product also contains 5 different kinds of herbal extracts from grapefruit, citron, eucalyptus leaf, sopohora root, and clove flower. You can use this right after you sprayed your face with the Dr. Clear Magic Toner!

Get ready for the coolest item in the box!

Lindsay Linzy Egg Pack (60 g, $12) – ARE THESE NOT THE CUTEST THINGS EVER? I honestly went 😀 when I opened the carton and saw these sitting inside. THEY LOOK LIKE ACTUAL EGGS. (yes, this warrants caps) The best part is that they smell amazing. Fresh, clean, and just slightly floral. I honestly cannot wait to use these even though I have a lot of other cleansers open right now.

This would be a great prank to play on someone (putting one of them into a real egg carton and seeing what happens). :p

You start with the white egg (cleans your pores) and then the red clay egg (tightens your pores). It’s so easy to use because you basically use them like soap! You lather each egg with warm water to create foam before massaging it onto your face and subsequently rinsing it off.

Egg carton. XD

ideeB Goodbye Oil Pact (12 g, $12) – This is a “shine-stopping translucent pressed powder” and it basically blots oil and stops your face from looking shiny. You can use it directly on your skin or try it over foundation. It has a little powder puff and a mirror inside the compact for easy use! What I want to know is if it works just as well as blotting papers. The cool thing about it is that you can buy it separately in the Memebox store. 😀

Overall value: $161.00

Overall enjoyment: This box is perfect for me! I love skincare and my skin is slightly more oily than your run-of-the-mill combination skin. The best thing is that you have cleanser, toner, serum, and cream in one box and so you basically have your skin care routine all set. And of course, who can forget those adorable egg cleansers??? I can’t believe those are only valued at $12, I thought for sure they would be more expensive! I would totally buy those if they were sold in the Memebox shop because they are just so unique (and I bet they work really well too).

If you want to try out one of many Memeboxes they have for sale on their website, be sure to use the code C4I1EU to take $5 off of any purchase over $30!

One use per customer and it is valid until November 30, 2014.
