Fun fact – they had three different boxes this month: sparkle, shine, and twinkle! Mine was the sparkle tasting box. 😀
Wild Garden Hummus Snack Pack by Ziyad – Ohhhh, this is pretty cool. It’s quinoa chips and hummus in a very creative package! It reminds me of those fruit freezes from elementary school. XD I tried this earlier today and thought it was much better than I expected. The hummus is obviously not as amazing fresh-made hummus (or Trader Joe’s edamame hummus) but it’s still decent. The quinoa chips were light, crunchy, and had enough flavor that they didn’t taste like cardboard. Definitely a healthy snack that’s a great substitute for chips in your lunch.
Lemon Zest Mini by Luna – I love Luna bars! They’re probably one of my favorite protein bars. Lemon is a delicious flavor and I’m definitely saving this for an afternoon pick-me-up. This is gluten-free and only 90 calories; plus it’s just the right amount of sweetness.
Graham Sticks by Back To Nature – I love graham crackers so much! But I never buy them because I can never finish the entire box. XD I really only buy graham crackers when I make cheesecake. 😀 I loved these! They’re the healthy version of graham crackers but they don’t sacrifice taste or texture at all. I loved these and was actually really sad when I reached into the bag and came up empty. XD
Shortbread by Walkers – I’m not a fan of shortbread, but my mom loves shortbread and especially this brand so I’m totally giving this to her. I’ve had them before and they are actually pretty good – buttery, crumbly, and everything you’d expect from a shortbread.
Garlic Olive Oil pasta Chips by Vintage Italia – I’ve always wanted to try pasta chips but the bags were too big for me to buy without having at least tried it beforehand. These were everything I wanted them to be and are so, so good! The only downside is the amount of sodium in these chips. 10% is way too high for just chips. But seriously – if sodium is not something you look at when you snack, then you really need to try them because the flavor is amazing.
Sour Beans by Yumearth – THESE ARE THE BEST. Seriously, they are like healthy sour patch fruit gummies! I first tried Yumearth last August and I loved their lollipops so much that I actually bought them from LoveWithFood and when I found them at a local grocery store, I bought them again. I definitely have to go find these and buy a big bag. XD I think I can taste cherry and peach in here, but there are other flavors that I couldn’t quite identify… apple, maybe?
Green Tea Tropical by Mighty Leaf Tea – Mighty Leaf makes great tea and I love the way they made their tea bags. I’ve tried this flavor before and it’s pretty good! I just wish they had sent more. 😉
Oloves by Milas in Basil and Garlic – I don’t particularly like olives but I still tried these because I thought… hey, why not? I like basil and garlic so maybe I could like this. I’ll try everything once – and somethings more than once just to see if I might like it after a while. And guess what? I actually don’t hate these. They’re not super acidic and the olive flavor is milder. Would I buy this? Nope. But these were probably the first olives I liked that weren’t on a slice of combination pizza. 😛
Love With Food usually sends out coupons and promo codes of the brands included in the box! This month they also sent out a magnet star. XD
The April 2015 Love With Food Tasting Box!
Overall enjoyment: This… might just be my favorite box yet, no joke! This is a month that I wish I had gotten the deluxe box instead. XD I’m really going to have to try to find those sour beans at a local grocery store and I might just have to get some pasta chips when I feel like indulging…
