As you can see in the top photo, the box took a beating but everything inside was definitely packaged nicely.

“You will receive a variety of exciting food products, the items in the box will be a surprise but we can say one thing, you will always find something new and delicious!”

And if you’re in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, or the UK – you can also get DegustaBox delivered to you! The contents will be different in each area, but the items will all be awesome. 🙂

June was their first ever box in the US market and the back of the info card lists out everything that was included. 🙂

They also included recipes for you (one for pasta salad and one for a teriyaki chicken skewer) to try out with the two sauces you received this month.

Wise Foods Popcorn in Sea Salt – Unfortunately these were kind of stale, but maybe that’s because they were air-popped? Regardless, these are pretty healthy and a good way to snack without feeling too guilty since they’re only 70 calories a pack!

Wise Foods Popcorn in Cinnabon – I was really excited when I saw these because I love cinnabon’s cinnamon rolls, unfortunately these were just as stale as the sea salt flavor packs and the cinnamon flavor itself wasn’t very prevalent.

Haribo Sour Gold Bears – Okay these were awesome! I’ve actually never had the sour version before because I usually just get the original, but these are great too. 😀 If you love sour gummies, these are perfect!

Vita Coco Coconut Oil – These mini packs are great for travel or if you just don’t use all that much coconut oil at once. You can eat it or use it as a beauty product. XD I’ve never cooked with coconut oil before but I’ve actually tried eating some before and it’s not bad.

Honees Honey Cough Drops – I definitely didn’t expect to get cough drops in a food subscription box, but hey, why not? XD These are larger than your Ricola cough drops and they’re definitely stronger too – I tried one and was a little overwhelmed by the taste of menthol. However, the honey center was a nice balance. Each cough drop is individually packaged!

Orchard Valley Harvest Cashews and Cranberry Almond Cashew Trail Mix – Both of these went to my parents because they love these kinds of snacks! Great pick-me-ups in the afternoon when you need that boost of energy.

Elmhurst Harvest Real Walnut Milk – You either received walnut, almond, or pistachio – an in varying flavors (ex. chocolate almond milk). I’ve never had walnut milk and so this will be an interesting experience! I’m slightly lactose-intolerant so this is great for me to try with my cereal. 🙂

Soy Yay Veri Veri Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce – This is a huge bottle and perfect for summer BBQs. I love teriyaki sauce and even though we usually make our own at home (it’s actually a lot easier than I thought it would be!), this will come in handy for marinating some chicken later this summer. There was variation for this too as you might have received Hoisin Garlic or Island Teriyaki as well.

Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter – I had no idea that Jif came out with cinnamon-flavored peanut butter! I, for one, plan to use this to bake with! These would make great peanut butter blossoms, with the cinnamon giving it an extra something. 😉

Briannas Italian Vinaigrette – Unfortunately, this one leaked in transit. Thankfully it was placed inside the bubble wrap sleeve you see underneath it, so the spillage was mostly contained and isolated. In any case, this looks like a great vinaigrette for salads (leafy or pasta) and the flavors really come through!

Topo Chico Mineral Water in Original and Twisted Lime – Last but not least, my favorite products in the box! These are so good and so guilt-free. 😀 I do enjoy soda now and again, but when I’m craving something carbonated and sugar-free, then I go for mineral water. Shortly after I got the box, I popped these into the fridge to chill and then opened the original mineral water to taste. Something great about these is that I’ve had the original open (capped) for a couple of days now but the carbonation is still as strong as on the first day! Usually mineral water, no matter if I cap it again, will slowly “deflate” over a couple of days, but not these!

Everything in the first ever U.S. DegustaBox

Overall enjoyment: I thought this was an interesting variety of food items that geared toward healthy snacking. I think this will be a fun subscription to watch as they send out more boxes in the US because the boxes they’ve sent out in other countries look amazing! I like that they included items that other subscription boxes normally wouldn’t include – such as mineral water in ACTUAL GLASS BOTTLES, cough drops, coconut oil, and sauces with recipes! And honestly, I think that the cost of this box is very reasonable given the free shipping and the amount of full size items they include.

If you want to find out more about each item, click here! DegustaBox has listed a lot of information about everything they sent out, including where you can go to buy each item.

Coupon Code: Use DEGUSTA10 to take $10 off your first box, making it just $9.99!
