This month’s info sheet! I love that they always include so much detail on each product.

And on the back, there are two recipe ideas for you to try with the products you’ve received. I think those homemade cheddar cheese crackers look preeeeetty amazing.

And this month they’ve included a crossword puzzle for you to work on while you snack…

…as well as origami instructions on how to make a paper crane!

Now then, let’s dive into the box! (which is always packed full in a huge box)

But as you can see, everything arrived safely!

Sir Kensington’s Chipotle Mayonnaise (10 oz) – I have heard such good things about this brand! I love spreads on sandwiches more than I love the actual fillings sometimes so I’m really excited to try this out. Chipotle mayo is great in fish tacos, hamburgers, sandwiches (OF COURSE), or even just as a dip for french fries/sweet potato fries. Or maybe use this in your egg salad to change it up a little. 😀

Oregon Chai Tea Latte – I do quite enjoy chai beverages so this will be fun to enjoy; you can easily make this at home so you don’t have to brave the local coffee shop for the same thing. And if you have a foam machine/hand mixer thing, I bet you could easily recreate your own chai latte at home!

Cow Tales in Vanilla – I laughed when I saw this because these are so old school! I will be honest and say they’re not my favorite because the caramel tastes really artificial to me, but the inside cream is ADDICTIVE. It’s ridiculously sweet and reminds me of the oreo cream filling. XD

Goya Maria Cookies – I was really looking forward to these when I opened the box because I knew they would be amazing… and they were! They’re like a cross between digestive biscuits (UK) and graham crackers (USA), but not as sweet, which is perfect to snack on. I’ve already finished a quarter of the entire pack, oops… XD

Popchips Ridges in Cheddar and Sour Cream – I’ve been seeing these a lot in grocery stores but haven’t had the chance to buy a bag yet, so it’s great to receive it here in my Degustabox. 😀 You could have received Salted, Tangy BBQ, Cheddar and Sour Cream, or Chili Cheese. I definitely feel like they know me because Cheddar and Sour Cream is my favorite. These are awesome! Packed full of flavor and really crunchy… they’re also quite addictive. XD I may have to buy the full size bag the next time I’m at the grocery store.

ALO Allure Pulp Free in Mango and Mangosteen – I absolutely LOVE this stuff and the best part is that they sent my favorite flavor! 🙂 If you’re not a huge fan of aloe drinks because of the aloe pieces, then you need to try this kind. It it just the amazing taste of aloe, mango, and mangosteen without any of the pulp. (personally I love the aloe pieces, hehe). But seriously, this is an awesome drink to have in the summer – pop it into the fridge and then enjoy.

Post Honey Bunches of Oats in Strawberry – I was actually really surprised to see an entire BOX of cereal included. XD I love honey bunches of oats so this is awesome for me. They’re great as a snack by themselves, as a sub-in for granola on top of yogurt, or as cereal (hah) in milk! You could have received Honey Roasted, Almond, Strawberry (like me!), or Vanilla.

Loacker Rose of the Dolomite – I love Loacker anything but I hadn’t seen these before, so I was excited to try these out. Each box contains four individually package pieces and each piece is definitely enough to satisfy your sweet tooth! They are so, so good. You get the creaminess of the milk chocolate, paired with the crunchy pieces of hazelnut for that added texture. It’s like eating crunchy nutella. *___* Originally, I was going to share these… but I think I’m going to have to keep them all for myself.

Vermont Smoke & Cure Mini Meat Sticks in Uncured Pepperoni Turkey and Cracked Pepper Beef & Pork – Let me tell you, I loved these. Yes they look like they’re packed with very bad things, but they’re actually very healthy! These do not contain MSG and there’s no added sodium nitrite, no nuts, no dairy, no gluten nor artificial preservatives!

The other side!

White Lily White Grape and Wheat Flour – This is super interesting to me because I love baking and I’m really intrigued by what I can use this for! (other than that awesome cheese cracker recipe). Maybe I’ll make some pretzels or biscuits. But honestly it’s impressive that they took the energy and shipping cost to send out an actual bag of flour. 😀

Everything in one picture. 😀

Overall enjoyment: They really stepped it up for this box! I enjoyed the curation and the eclectic mix of items they included for August. I think my favorite is a three way tie between the aloe drink, the popchips and the goya maria cookies. I’m really excited to bake with the flour (it’s always fantastic for bakers to have new flour to experiment with!) and to make sandwiches so that I have an excuse to use that chipotle mayo. XD

  1. I keep meaning to try this box! I’ve never even heard of a drink with aloe pieces in it. I might have to hunt one down somewhere just to try it and see if I don’t like it. 😀
