The April info sheet!

Chiridos in Salsa Verde, Baja Ranchero, and Spicy Mole ($1.49 each) – Oh boy, this is exciting! These are not just any regular bags of chips… these are made with CRICKET FLOUR. So yes, these are gluten free and high in protein. 😉 I actually really liked these! No joke!! They’re super crunchy and the after taste is kind of like black bean chips.

Bush’s Garbanzos Chick Peas ($1.00) & Hummus Made Easy ($2.29) – Fresh hummus whenever you want it, made easy! If you love hummus, this is perfect for you! All you need to do is blend the packet with the actual chick peas and you’ll have freshly made hummus in minutes. 😀

Lovely Candy in Chewy Original Caramels ($2.49) – These are fantastic! They’re made with real butter, sweetened condensed milk, and molasses… which is why they’re so sweet and so pure in their flavor. 😀 A good thing to note is that they’re not hard or overly sticky, so if you have sensitive teeth, you can still enjoy them!

Wild Planet Organic Roasted Chicken Breast ($4.99) – This was actually a lot better than I thought it would be! The chicken is roasted in its natural juices instead of being boiled in water and so the actual meat of the chicken is flavorful and moist. You can easily use this for chicken salad for a sandwich!

Mutti Double Concentrated Tomato Paste ($2.99) – This is freaking perfect. Every time I need tomato paste, I end up having to buy one of those mini cans and never manage to finish it. But this? You have it ready to go in a tube and it’s double concentrated so you don’t even need to use that much. 😀

Better Oats Instant Oatmeal with Flax Seeds in Maple & Brown Sugar ($3.99) – There are 10 pouches in here so you basically get 10 breakfasts (or 10 snacks)! I love oatmeal so this is perfect for me. 😀 These are so fast and easy to make; definitely a great go-to when you’re in a hurry. This is very hearty and will fill you up for sure!

Candy Melts Candy Drizzle Pouch in Salted Caramel ($1.99) – Super easy to use and very convenient when you want to jazz up your dessert/make it look Instagram-worthy. :p Just heat it up in the microwave, cut one of the corners, and squeeze.

PR Bar in Yogurt Berry ($2.07) – Good for a quick snack or pick me up in the afternoon! (although you probably should eat this before/after a workout instead of like a snack bar haha)

DSC_1166

Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce in Garlic ($5.99) – Give me all the Nando’s sauces! I can’t finish the previous one before they send out a new one, but I don’t care because I want to try all of the flavors. 😀

Skinnygirl Peach Bellini Green Tea ($4.99) – This is great for people who have Keurig machines! However, if you don’t have one, DegustaBox sent out the two following items instead so that you’re not stuck with a box of K-Cups you can’t use. 😄 Thus there were two different boxes sent out this month, one with the Skinnygirl product and one with the two products shown below.

DegustaBox was kind enough to send all the items for me to review here! But please note that your box will only contain one of the two variations.

Cafe Bustelo Instant Coffee ($1.29) – While I don’t drink coffee, this will be perfect for me to use in several baking recipes that call for instant coffee! Of course, if you do drink coffee, these will be perfect for you to use on days you don’t have time to brew a cup. 😀

Zenify in Zero Sugar ($2.00) – Ahhh, one of my biggest gripes about these healthy drinks is the fact that they do not have sugar and instead have artificial sweeteners. I don’t know what it is, but I just hate artificial sweeteners. I’d rather give up soda than drink diet soda. But… I will give this a try just because it’s supposed to help you stay focused, sharp, and productive as it has the same amount of stress-relieving antioxidants found in 15 cups of green tea, without the caffeine!

Overall value: $37.26

Overall enjoyment: I can’t believe they sent out cricket chips! That literally makes the box for me because I’ve honestly always wanted to try something made with cricket flour ever since I watched a video on it. 😄 DegustaBox seriously finds the coolest items to include in their boxes and I’m just really impressed month after month.

Coupon Code: Use DEGUSTA10 to take $10 off your first box, making it just $9.99!
