The July info sheet!

And on the back, there’s a crossword to enjoy while you snack.

This month’s box also included a coupon for you to redeem a free Rxbar of any flavor!

Wise Foods Popcorn in Cinnabon ($0.75 each) – If you were a long-time subscriber of DegustaBox, you’ll know that these were sent out a year ago! Unfortunately, I’m still not a fan of these; too healthy for me. 😉

Wise Foods Popcorn in Sea Salt ($0.75 each) – Much like the cinnabon ones, I can’t say I like these. But they are a great snack in a pinch.

Waffle Waffle Buttery Vanilla Waffle ($1.79) – This was fantastic! The waffle was buttery as advertised, soft but dense, with added crunch factor from the pearl sugar. 🙂 You definitely don’t need syrup with this waffle!

Kala Beautiful Beans in Tropical Curry ($3.99) – I love roasted or fried fava beans so these were a very welcome inclusion in this month’s box! The curry flavor does not overpower the nutty, earthiness of the fava bean and it’s honestly just a great savory snack. The lime kicks in at the very end!

Mrs. Thinster’s Cookie Thins in Brownie Batter ($2.99) – I just can’t say no to cookies or brownies, so of course I can’t say no to Cookie Thins in Brownie Batter. XD These are light and crunchy and packed full of flavor. I like to take a few of these with me for an afternoon snack.

Karma Wellness Water in Acai Pomegranate ($1.99) – I have never seen this before and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it… because you know, I like my water to be… water, haha. (and free from artificial sweeteners) This is supposed to help boost your immunity because it contains essential vitamins and nutrients.

It’s easy enough to mix – just peel off the top, push the vitamins into the water, shake… and watch the water turn blue! This actually tastes like blue raspberry or just the color “blue” from your childhood. XD

King Arthur Flour Everyone’s Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix ($4.99) – King Arthur has really great flour and so when I saw this in the box, I was pretty excited! I have yet to make these, but I can’t wait. I have no doubt they’ll turn out great. 😀

Vermont Smoke & Cure in Cracker Pepper ($1.99 each) – These are made from beef and pork and they’re really quite tasty. Sure, they’re a little saltier than I would like, but when you’re indulging in something like this, salt is what makes it the flavor! They’re like mini, portable hot dogs. XD

Mutti Tomato Sauce ($2.29) – This is a great starter for your tomato-base pasta sauce; you can easily use this instead of slaving away on the stove for hours to cook down tomatoes. You just have to add some more vegetables and meats to dress this up and serve it for dinner!

Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($3.99) – I love olive oil. I love cooking with it, but more than that, I love dipping freshly baked bread in it (along with some quality balsamic vinegar). This bottle will definitely be used up!

Overall value: $29.01 (excluding the $ of the RXbar)

Overall enjoyment: This was an okay box for me, mostly because I wasn’t a fan of the popcorn and the karma water. XD But the rest of the box was fun! I’m really looking forward to the King Arthur chocolate chip cookies and enjoyed the other snacks that I’ve already tried. The olive oil and tomato sauce will definitely be put to good use. 🙂

Coupon Code: Use DEGUSTA10 to take $10 off your first box, making it just $9.99!
