So what is DegustaBox?
“You will receive a variety of exciting food products, the items in the box will be a surprise but we can say one thing, you will always find something new and delicious!”
And if you’re in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, or the UK – you can also get DegustaBox delivered to you! The contents will be different in each area, but the items will all be awesome.
The December information sheet! I can’t believe it’s already the last box of 2017. :O
And on the back, they have supplied some helpful recipes for you to use with the items that are in your box.
Ozery Bakery Coupon – In this box, they have included a coupon for one entirely free package of Morning Rounds or Snacking Rounds from Ozery Bakery! I do believe you can get this at Whole Foods, so now I have an excuse to go. 😉
Briannas Creamy Balsamic Dressing – I don’t think I eat enough salad to keep up with all of the salad dressing they send out! I do love balsamic, so I’ll be trying this as a marinade for chicken breast instead. XD
Included in the box was a small booklet of recipes you could make with Briannas’ dressings. I might have to use this later on!
Suckerpunch Gourmet Pickles in Spicy Garlic Originals – I love pickles! I think they just really add that extra spark of something delicious to a sandwich. Or they can totally be enjoyed by themselves too. XD These were not super spicy, but I loved the kick of garlic!
There was a $2.00 off coupon if you wanted to buy more!
Cauli Rice in Original – I do quite love cauliflower that is made into rice, so I’m really looking forward to trying out this new brand! This is seriously so easy to make… you can bring this to work and cook it in the microwave. XD
Cauli Rice in Spicy Chicken – Despite the fact that I don’t love spicy foods, I am looking forward to this one because flavored cauli rice is pretty awesome!
Mulino Bianco’s Sfilati with Green and Black Olives – Oh I love these! They’re crunchy and salty and so delicious. I could snack on these forever and I don’t even particularly care for olives. XD
Muliano Bianco’s Baiocchi – And these? These are also delicious! What really surprised me was how crispy-crunchy the cookies were. I thought it would be harder biscuit with a gooey hazelnut chocolate filling, but it’s actually the opposite! Either way, these are fantastic.
Goodthins’ The Beet One in Balsamic Vinegar and Sea Salt – I am a huge fan of beets and I do love balsamic… so this was naturally going to be amazing! (seriously though, beets with goat cheese? one of my favorite combos). This definitely is everything it advertises to be, so if you love that earthy sweetness that comes from beets, you’ll love this too! The balsamic gives it a good twist and is a less pungent version of salt and vinegar chips.
Barilla’s Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto – I feel like pesto (of any form – made from sun-dried tomatoes or basil or what have you) is the thing I always say I’ll eat, but then I eat some and I don’t want any for another three months. XD This would be a fun addition on top of some homemade pizza though!
Barilla’s Ready Pasta (Gemelli) – This is very interesting too! I can’t believe they’re selling pre-cooked… fully cooked pasta, at that… and it claims to be al dente, so… we’ll see. XD This is great for when you’re running late and just want something warm and filling. It’d be super easy to heat up with some store-bought sauce if you just need some fuel.
The December 2017 Degustabox!
Overall enjoyment: I loved the selection of savory snacks/foods this month but definitely did wish there were more sweets. XD (that’s always my problem – when boxes send out sweet things, I want more savory and vice versa). But the cookies in this box will definitely tide me over until Christmas. 😉
Coupon Code: Use DEGUSTA10 to take $10 off your first box, making it just $9.99!
