The August information sheet!

Wise Snacks Bravos Stadium Nacho ($0.50 per bag) – I was skeptical about this one because I haven’t loved the previous Wise Snacks I had previously sampled, but these have changed my mind and are actually pretty darn good. I didn’t think they would be able to get that fake nacho cheese taste, but it’s spot on and I love it!

Prince of Peace Ginger Chews with Lemon ($1.99) – I’m not a huge fan of ginger in sweets (the only exception is gingersnaps), so I’ll pass on these. :p But I’ll pass these onto a friend who not only enjoys the taste of ginger, but also says that ginger helps settle her stomach.

The Good Crisp Company Original Flavored Potato Crisps ($3.49) – You could have received one of two flavors this month: original or sour cream & onion – I’m so sad I didn’t get sour cream and onion because it’s my favorite chips flavor (after all-dressed chips). But I’ll still enjoy these original flavored chips… I’ll just have to break out the ketchup and dip them. 😀

Popcorn Indiana Movie Theater Popcorn ($3.39 for a 4.75oz bag) – I will never say no to popcorn in Degustabox! I love this brand and who doesn’t love movie-style popcorn? It’s all about the butter! 😉

High Brew Coffee Double Espresso ($2.50) – There were six different variations you could have received this month and I believe I got the original. This original flavor has a “touch of sugar and a splash of milk”.  I don’t drink coffee, so I’ll be gifting this to my brother. XD

This item also came with two 50 cents off coupons that you can use to buy other flavors.

Ready Nutrition Protein Water in Pink Grapefruit ($2.50) – I don’t know whether to be intrigued or afraid of this product… protein water? XD This has 15 grams of whey protein isolate and no sugar. I’m not a body builder or trying to increase my protein intake, so I’ll also give this to my brother and see how he likes it.

Country Archer Jerky Co. Pork Bar in Sweet BBQ ($3.00) – While I don’t purposely try to increase my protein intake, I do love my jerky! I find that they’re the best pick-me-up snack at around 5PM – enough to stave off the hunger before I make it home to actually eat dinner at around 7:30PM most days – so I don’t end up snacking. I love BBQ and I love pork and I love bacon, so this was a win for me!

Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix ($1.49) – This mix has pecans, walnuts, apples, and cherries. With its maple glaze, it’s supposed to be kind of like a pecan pie… and I am here for this. This will make a great afternoon snack at the office so I don’t go buy a chocolate bar or chips.

PR Bar in Chocolate Peanut ($1.99) – It’s been a while since I’ve had a protein bar, but I’m always interested in trying to find the best tasting one. :p Chocolate and peanuts is always a winning combination so I’ll also bring this to the office with me as an emergency snack.

Post Frosted Shredded Wheat Chocolate Strawberry ($3.49) – This has actual chocolate inside of each piece of shredded wheat, while the outside is a frosted with a strawberry flavor. Nothing like some shredded wheat to increase your fiber intake and sugar rush in the morning to get you up and going. XD

Colombina Sweet Chili Sauce in Mild ($3.69) – This month you could have either received this sauce from Colombina or the breakfast biscuits below. This sauce could definitely be a great marinade for whatever meats you’re throwing on the grill before summer ends!

Colombina Breakfast Bisuits in Mixed Berries – These look like Belvita cookies/biscuits! I’m interested to see how the mixed berries flavor comes through because sometimes it can be far too artificial, but other times it can be quite pleasant. 🙂

The August 2018 Degustabox!

Overall enjoyment: This was definitely a camp-worthy box! Lots of snacks to take with you and keep you full whether you’re hiking, setting up your tent, or on the road trip up to the campsite. My favorites in this month’s box have to be the pork bar jerky, the popcorn, and the stadium nacho tortilla chips!
